Texas, I think, is good for you, and I'm not talking about the climate.Fiat Lexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10441862977921307080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3375512083268389933.post-28685748393561804052010-06-30T00:53:44.852-05:002010-06-30T00:53:44.852-05:00I'm just going to repeat something I said earl...I'm just going to repeat something I said earlier: Part of becoming a successful writer is getting all the Bad Writing out of your system. Romance may work the same way.

It's not just finding the right person, it's also finding them at the right time. Somewhere in there is a process of becoming the right person, for them.

Whenever I hear someone talk about the extremes of a relationship - be it Romantic or Religious - I always hear Jareth, the Goblin King: "I ask for so little. Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave." It's a very... interesting... definition of slavery. Or love.

I think I'm a good husband... now. But that's in no small part because I screwed things up, badly, with my supposed former wife. A lot of the things I do well now, I manage because I did them poorly, then.

So...

Let the story keep writing itself.Michael Mockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06233321050691782148noreply@blogger.com
