Tip o' the Cap...

Once again, I must confess my inability to approach the greatness that is Fafblog... Oh, Fafblog, we thank you for coming back to us in our hour of greatest need.

I lol'd at the fafbog piece.

Hey, there's something you need to know about (sorry for being off-topic). You know Mercy Ministries, that residential Xtian counseling organization that was caught abusing women in Australia and later America. Well, On youtube I had a bunch of videos up about the abuse scandal and Mercy Ministries had them taken down with false DMCA copyright infringement charges. So yeah, they are pulling the same stunt that got Kent Hovind's Creation Science Evangelism in hot water last year.

You can read more about it on my blog. Just thought it's important to get the word out.

Fafblog is on your Blogs of Note roll, alerting the advertent reader to its existence. So how come you gotta make a whole post everytime they do? And get your loyal readers' hopes up about more Geds being here, when in fact there isn't any new Geds, only Fafblog, which we already read anyway? Behold my sad frowny face!

:(

My internets are still cut off at home so there is a finite amount of things I like which are non-audio-having and SFW. At least now that I've OD'd on The Grantville Gazette for the moment.

Short answer: because I hate you. That's you, specifically.

But, hey, now that the Great Move '08 is completed and the Great Internet Hookup of Between Noon and Four PM on October 21st, 2008 will be accomplished between tomorrow and November, I might be able to stop and think about stuff and maybe finish one or two of the many, many half completed entries that are currently residing on the hard drive of Dinosaur, Jr., my beloved nine year-old Toshiba laptop. Although the Great Dish Network Installation Scandal and the Great Collapsing Box Spring Incident might overcome that.

Okay, I'm going to stop giving "Great" monikers to the pointlessly mundane things that happened over the weekend. Although there was also the Not-So-Great Running in to "Her" On Sunday Experience, Wherein Our Hero Learned that He Doesn't Actually Despise Her Like He Thinks He Should and Got Worried About the Ramifications Before Remembering that He was Pretty Buzzed and Really Doesn't Have Any Hard Feelings About, Y'Know, Stuff.

Well, On youtube I had a bunch of videos up about the abuse scandal and Mercy Ministries had them taken down with false DMCA copyright infringement charges.

So that's what those comments were about lawyers on your blog. I now understand (um, I never bothered to watch the YouTube videos due to general laziness and a habit of not watching things that don't involve Zero Punctuation on the internet).

Still and all, keep up the good fight.

Ah, this past period of time has been the Great Moving Time! Congratulations, and I apologize for badgering you!

We still plan to find some way to come over and have some kind of housewarming party for you, with drunkenness. Which would be even better if there was a way to accomplish this without asking you to give us a ride, which totally defeats the purpose.

And hey, not despising and/or hating someone is not something that needs to make you worry about yourself. I mean yes, there are many people whose presence and actions should make you angry and/or wary, but I doubt She is one of them. Like I would be angry and wary if trapped in the same as Carl Rove, or a swarm of bees.

Despising, like many forms of verbal and physical abuse, is a thing best reserved for ideas and inanimate objects, like totalitarianism and copy machines.

But have the Offspring taught you nothing? It's cool to hate.

Anyway, lest you get too worried, I'm practically within walking distance of any number of train stations and certainly within easy picking up from the train distance from those self-same places...
